Ghazi the first ever submarine war fought by India is appealing.
“Ghazi”, with its promo release earlier is creating an all round buzz. Not less to say, that it has appealed to the wide masses. The talks and discussions about the movie is audible enough and is pervasive as well. This is going to be the first submarine war film of India. Although, it is in Telugu but still is able to draw the attention.
Sankalp Reddy is making his way in direction with this. Contextually, he has based the film on the 1971 incident when a Pakistan submarine PNS Ghazi planned to attack Visakhapatnam. However, it was destroyed by the Indian warship INS Rajput. True to some extent, that the incident didn’t fetch the headlines and sooner enough got vanished.
Such a war drama seems an iron pellet to chew. Although, Sankalp with an excellent cast of the movie get through it. The movie features Rana Daggubati, Kay Kay Menon, Atul Kulkarni and Om Puri. About the movie, as the plot unfolds it brings the viewers on their heels. Action sequences are at par in its excellence. Alongside, the dialogues very tactfully written and infuses with the screenplay. Although, the climax is clear yet the rythm of suspense executes quite well.
