Advocate Ajay Kumar Waghmare filed a petition against the upcoming movie ‘Jolly LLB 2’. He demanded removal of the word ‘LLB’ from the film and cut certain shots which portrays lawyers in bad light. The context shown in the trailer seems to be an attempt to ‘mock’ on the existing judicial system of India.

The Bombay high court orders that Akshay Kumar starrer “Jolly LLB 2” can be screened only after four controversial cut shots as per the decision made by the court.

Jolly Llb 2 PosterThe 49 year old star says it is disheartening that people ends up filing case on movies just few days before the scheduled release. “These days anyone keep filling cases on every second film, but still the court never stalls the release of any film. Because the court also understands that sometimes people file these cases deliberately.

After watching the movie, justice SS Shindhe and KK Sonawane of Bombay high court bench. They passed the order of screening the movie after cutting three four controversial shots. The movie is releasing on 10th February. Subhash Kapoor is the director of Jolly LLB 2. It is a sequel to the 2012 comedy movie, Jolly LLB. Other than khiladi no. 1 the movie also stars Huma Qureshi and Annu Kapoor.
